Hello! My name is Minseo Cha and i am from Usco. Usco means youth storyteller culture organiztion. I will explain the Seokjojeon, one of Korea's precious cultural heritage building. Seokjojeon Hall is a building in Deoksugung Palace, one of the palaces of the Joseon Dynasty in Korea. Many people has interest in this building because it is a Western-style building that it's hard to imagine as a Korean palace. 안녕하세요 제 이름은 차민서이고 저는 유스코에서 왔습니다. 유스코는 youth storyteller culture organization 의 줄임말 입니다. 저는 한국의 귀중한 문화유산 건물 중 하나인 석조전에 대해 설명하겠습니다. 석조전은 한국의 조선시대 궁궐 중 하나였던 덕수궁에 있는 건물입니다. 한국의 궁궐이라고는 상상할 수 없는 서양식 건물이라 많은 분들이 관심을 가질 것 입니다. 사진은 직접 촬영하였습니다. Let me explain some things about the Seokjojean Hall. It’s a third floor of the building. The ground floor was the living room of the servants close to Emperor of the Korean Empire, Emperor Gojong. The first floor had the audience chamber and the grand dinning hall to greet guests, and the second floor was the living space of the emperor. If you go up the middle stairs, the part of inside is decorated with rococo style. let me explain some things about the audience chamber in the first floor. Emperor Gojong used to greet  foreign envoys. The furniture is decorated with oyat flower patterns. Also, there is the grand dining hall in the first floor. Let's see the secondfloor. There is two bedrooms. You can see that one room is decorated in golden color, and the other one is decorated in red. Which one could be the Emperor Gojong’s room? The answer is the goldend room. If you go outside this building, you can see a awesome fountain. The fountain outside is unique. Usually, Korean palaces don’t have this kind for fountain. The old peoples believed that water flowed from top to bottom, so this fountain was very unique. This is the end of explaining the Seokjojeon hall, a cultural heritage of Korea. Thank you. 이 건물 밖으로 나가면 멋진 분수를 볼 수 있어요. 밖에 있는 분수는 독특합니다. 보통 한국의 궁궐에는 이런 종류의 분수가 없습니다. 옛사람들은 물이 위에서 아래로 흐르는게 자연의 법칙이라 생각했기에 짓지 않았기 때문입니다. 이 분수는 매우 독특합니다. 이상으로 한국의 문화유산인 석조전에 대해 설명했습니다. 감사합니다. 사진은 직접 촬영하였습니다.
